Event Recap: Creator Camp Film Fest

We popped up in Austin, TX at the end of April to support Creator Camp’s first-ever Film Fest! We partnered with Cometeer (if you haven’t tried their frozen coffee pods, they’re amazing) to fuel the 1100+ creators, filmmakers, marketers, managers and more over the two-day festival. The weekend was an impressive culmination of the amazing community that the group has built over the last couple years, and the talent showcased was a true marker of the next generation of filmmakers. As one of Creator Camp’s first brand sponsors, this was an amazing moment to witness (Danielle might have cried).

If you weren’t able to attend live in Austin, you can view the films on Creator Camp’s Patreon account.

Notion Mail for Creators

From partnership emails and tracking deliverables to just keeping your inbox from getting too chaotic—we’re all trying to spend less time replying, sorting, and searching, and more time actually creating.

Vanessa Lau is balancing everything from being a full-time creator, running her own business, and planning a 2025 wedding + honeymoon (!!!). Here are some of her favorite Notion Mail features:

  • Letting Notion AI auto-tag incoming emails to stay organized across sponsorships, invoices, wedding planning, and more.

  • Drafting what she wants to say, then using Notion AI to polish it up before hitting send.

  • Using built-in scheduling with Notion Calendar so people can easily book time with her.

Check out how other creators are using Notion Mail, including tips from Justin Mecham, Will McTighe, and even a full guide from Better Creating.

Once you’ve had some time to play around with Notion Mail and try out all the features, we’d love to hear what you think! Drop us your feedback, and let us know which features you’d want us to prioritize. We’re continuing to build out Notion Mail (and other cool stuff!) this year, and your input helps shape it.

Getting to Know Notion AI

Curious about how Notion AI can actually work for you? We’ve just launched 5 new Academy lessons to help you get the most out of it. If you’re wondering how Notion AI fits into your workflow or want to make sure you’re getting the most value from it, this course is for you. We’ll show you what Notion AI is really great at—and where it could use a little help. Think of it as your guide to turning Notion AI into your creative sidekick, not just another tool.

Upcoming Event: First Block Live

For anyone building in the creator economy, this one is for you. The Notion Startups team is bringing First Block, our founder-led podcast series, to a live audience later this month. The first guest is Michael Truell, Co-Founder & CEO of Anysphere, the company behind Cursor - the AI-native code editor developers can’t stop talking about (any vibe coders out there?).

If you’re in San Francisco on May 21, register to attend here.

Stay tuned for the next edition where we’ll be spotlighting a creator with an incredible growth story, plus the Notion templates that helped her along the way! She’s sharing her best creator tips, workflows, and how she built a system that works for her.
