003: Meet the New Notion AI

In this month’s newsletter, we are introducing you to the new face of Notion AI 👋 No, we did not hire someone to be our spokesperson—in true Notion fashion, we drew someone.

Further in this edition, you’ll see some of our favorite AI use-cases for creators. Personally, we can’t live without the little assistant that now lives within our workspace!

We want to also take some space to thank all of the amazing creators (and their teams) that we’ve partnered with for this launch so far. So much success comes from all the amazing content and we are so grateful to be able to work with such talented individuals!

Over the next month, the two of us will be working toward Make with Notion on October 24! Revise your writing and make edits to your docs

Edit your video scripts, captions or difficult-to-send emails (we’ve all been there) magically with Notion AI. You can easily rewrite copy based on tone, to match a brand’s voice or correct grammar.

Analyze and summarize PDFs & images

Instead of sifting through a multi-page content brief (yikes) or re-read a long contract, simply ask AI to summarize all of the important points in a PDF. Notion AI can also analyze photos, so you can ask it to create a witty caption for the next Instagram picture in your content calendar!

Search for information in Notion, Slack and Google Drive

We won’t be offended if you’re using Google Docs… but only if if you promise to connect it to Notion 😉 You can now ask Notion AI about information in your Slack and Google Drive so you don’t have to go around hunting for it yourself. If you ask us, this is truly modern magic 🪄

Chat about anything, using AI knowledge from models like GPT-4 & Claude

Lastly, the feature you all have been waiting for… Notion AI now has access to language models like GPT-4 and Claude, so you can (privately!) ask it about any topic in your chatbox. If you like the response, you can simply ask the assistant to add it to your doc, so you don’t have to copy and paste it yourself.
